Each 11" x 14" American wildlife watercolor painting is matted in forest green in a frameless glass measuring 16"x20".

Due to the bad images from my camera flashback, I have chosen to show the art without the glass frames. Please also note the forest green matting sometimes appears almost black, but it really is a true forest green.

WITH THE USE OF THE COMPUTER, THIS IS THE ORIGINAL PHOTO AT LEFT TOP OF BANDIT, A QUEENSLAND MIX.  THE PAINTING ON LOWER RIGHT IS AN ENHANCED VERSION OF THE ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH WHICH WAS HAND PAINTED OVER IN COLORED PENCILS AND PASTELS.  THIS TYPE OF ARTWORK IS DONE ON SPECIAL TEXTURED PAPER USED IN PRINTERS.  THE WORK IS JUST AS LABOR INTENSIVE AS PAINTING A PORTRAIT FROM SCRATCH, SINCE I HAVE TO FIRST PAINT THE IMAGE ON THE COMPUTER, THEN PAINT IT AGAIN TWICE WITH THE PENCILS AND PASTELS.

THIS PARTICULAR PORTRAIT WAS PAINTED AS A GIFT TO A PARK RANGER IN CALIFORNIA AS A THANK YOU FOR HIS TIME, GENEROSITY AND FRIENDSHIP TO MY FAMILY ON A CAMPING TRIP IN 2006.
